After a three-year delay, due to the pandemic and the war in neighbouring Ukraine, some 60 EMHF delegates and guests were delighted finally to be able to meet in Warsaw for the 2023 General Assembly. The meeting, again split over two days, featured fascinating presentations on such matters as the World Pool and its relevance to EMHF members, the relationship between the racing authority and the 'racing Police' in France, gene doping and its implications for the EMHF, the work of FEGENTRI and the Racing to School and National Racehorse Week initiatives in Great Britain.
There followed a day's racing at Warsaw's impressive Sluzewiec Racecourse.
