THOROUGHBRED BEACH RACING SEASON, 2019

The European Beach Racing Season again starts at Laredo in Cantabria, Spain on Saturday, May 11th. Twelve fixtures, spread across four countries, constitute the season, which closes at its traditional venue of Laytown, County Meath, Ireland  on Thursday, September 11th

In July 2017, it was decided to create a loose association of those racetracks in our region which stage official, Thoroughbred racing on the beach.

There are seven such tracks: Plestin-les-Greves and Plouescat in France, Cuxhaven in Germany, Laytown in Ireland and Sanlucar de Barrameda, Loredo and Laredo in Spain.
