Strtong turnout expected for General Assembly

Another sizeable turnout is expected for the EMHF's forthcoming General Assembly Meeting, which will take place on Monday, May 29th. Delegates are expected from Belgium, Czech Republic, Channel Islands, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Norway, Morocco, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey, as well as from new member country, Greece. In addition, there will be observers from the EMHF's sister organisations, the European and Mediterranean Stud Book Liaison Committee, the European Equestrian Federation, the Union Europeenne du Trot and the European Federation of Thoroughbred Breeders Associations (EFTBA). Presentations will be made by the hosts, the Swedish Horseracing Authority; by new members the Jockey Club of Greece in association with Greek betting and racecourse operators, Horse Races SA; by new Observer organisation EFTBA, with an address on the work of the European Horserace Scientific Liaison Committee (EHSLC) from Yves Bonnaire, Chairman of the Task Force for IFHA certification of Racing Laboratories and a guiding force in the EHSLC since its inception.

Delegates will have the opportunity to attend the famous Elitloppet trotting fixture at Solvalla on May 28th, and also the evening fixture at the recently-opened Bro Park racecourse on the evening of the meeting.
