Arrangements are being finalised for the EMHF's General Assembly, to be held at Ovrevoll Racecourse in Oslo, Norway on Thursday, May 16th. The International Forum for the Aftercare of Racehorses will be holding its Annual Conference (which in the past two years has been held alongside the Asian Racing Conference in Seoul and the Pan-American Conference in Washington DC) at the same venue on the afternoon of our meeting. Delegates to both meetings will have the opportunity to hear a talk from the Norwegian Jockey Club's former Director, Hans Petter Eriksen on the Whip Rules in Norway, pioneer country in 'whip-free races', and the following day to witness these rules in action at the races at Ovrevoll and join with the Norwegian people in the fabled celebrations of their National Day.
