Brian Kavanagh Honoured in Paris

The end of an era was marked in appropriate fashion in Paris this week, as EMHF Chair Brian Kavanagh, stood down from his roles at the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA). Brian has been a central figure within the IFHA, where he has stood as the Vice-Chair, representing our region, for no fewer than 16 years. At the opening of the International Conference of Horseracing Authorities,

IFHA Chair, Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges presented Brian with a statue and collage of photos of Brian at IFHA events over the years.

Brian, who moved from being CEO at Horse Racing Ireland to take up the same role at The Curragh, will continue to Chair EMHF until the middle of next year.
