Great Britain's Brant Dunshea has been elected as one of the EMHF's three Vice-Chairs. He will represent the EMHF's European member countries which are not part of the European Union - namely, Channel Islands, Great Britain, Norway, Switzerland and Turkey. Successful in the election over the Channel Islands' Jonathan Perree,
Dunshea, currently the Acting Chief Executive Officer at the British Horseracing Authority, has filled the post left vacant when Julie Harrington departed that organisation at the end of 2025.

Dunshea said: “I’m honoured to take on this role and look forward to working with new chair Henri Pouret and colleagues across the region to support the EMHF’s important mission and promote collaboration amongst members.”
Henri Pouret, newly-elected Chair of the EMHF, added:
”EMHF is privileged to benefit from Brant Dunshea’s broad racing administrator experience and leadership. This also demonstrates the ongoing support of the BHA to the Federation”
